    The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is one of the premier recruitment boards for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The UPSSSC PET Exam is an important exam conducted by the commission for the recruitment of Physical Education Teachers (PET) in the state.     Overview of UPSSSC PET Exam

    The UPSSSC PET Exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) for the recruitment of Physical Education Teachers in the state. The exam is conducted in offline mode and consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. The Paper I is an objective-type paper that consists of multiple-choice questions from various subjects such as General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, and General Maths. The Paper II consists of subjective-type questions related to Physical Education.

    The UPSSSC PET Exam is conducted twice a year in the months of February and August. The exam is conducted in two shifts – morning and evening. The duration of the exam is three hours for each shift. The exam is conducted in various cities across the state of Uttar Pradesh.

    Exam Format and Eligibility Requirements

    The UPSSSC PET Exam is conducted in two parts – Paper I and Paper II. The Paper I consists of multiple-choice questions from various subjects such as General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, and General Maths. The Paper II consists of subjective-type questions related to Physical Education.

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in the UPSSSC PET Exam are as follows:

    • Candidates must be Indian Citizens.
    • Candidates must have completed their Graduation in Physical Education or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university.
    • Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
    • Candidates must have a valid UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) certificate.
