The Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment process was conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The Delhi Police has recently announced the results of the 2021 Head Constable exam. This exam was conducted by the police department in order to fill up the vacancies in the Delhi Police force. A total of 834 vacancies were declared, out of which 1071 candidates were selected. The examination took place between the 13th and 15th of March, 2021.
The aspirants had to appear in the written exam and physical endurance test, which included evaluation of their mental, physical, and psychological attributes. The written exam was conducted at different centers across Delhi and comprised of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) from General Awareness, General Science, and Numerical Ability.
The selection process also included a physical endurance test where candidates had to clear physical measurements such as running, long jump, high jump and so on. After the selection process, the interview round and the document verification round were also conducted.
The selected candidates will now have to go through training for the post of head constable. This is a seven-week program which will be conducted at the DRPTC (Delhi Police Training College), located in Delhi. This training program will be followed by a medical examination and further job allocation.
