Exam Details for RPF SI 2018
The RPF SI 2018 exam will be conducted in two stages: Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The written examination will consist of objective type questions from topics such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning. The exam duration will be 90 minutes and the total number of questions will be 120. The minimum qualifying marks for the written examination will be 40%.
The PET will include physical tests such as running, long jump, high jump, etc. The minimum qualifying marks for the PET will be 35%. Candidates who qualify the written examination and PET will be eligible for the final selection.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is set to release the e-admit card for the recruitment of SI 2018-19 on January 11, 2019. Candidates who applied for the recruitment will be able to download the admit card from the official website of the RPF.
The recruitment of SI was announced in July 2018, and the registration process ended on 1 st November, 2018. More than one lakhs candidates were eligible to appear for this recruitment process. This recruitment has been conducted by the Railways Recruitment Board to fill up 1,120 vacancies in the RPF. The selection process will comprise of three stages: written examination, physical efficiency test, and medical test.
The e-admit card for the first stage of the selection process, i.e. written examination will be released on 11th January, 2019. Candidates who have successfully filled the online registration form will only be able to download the e-admit card from the official website of the RPF. The written examination will be conducted in computer-based mode on 19th February, 2019. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and questions will be asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. It is expected that the results of the examination will be released by the second week of April, 2019.
It is advised that all the candidates who are appearing for the examination must read the detailed RPF SI syllabus and exam pattern before appearing for the examination and prepare themselves accordingly. It is also important that candidates bring the Admit Card to the examination center on the day of examination, as it is a necessary proof that the candidate will be allowed to write the examination.
