The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the results of class 10th Board exams are to be out on July 20, 2022. The board had earlier cancelled the class 10th board exams and decided to go with the Alternative Assessments due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The assessment of the class 10th students based on the Alternative Assessments has been in progress for the last few months and was been conducted in such a way so that the students get an opportunity to improve their performance and acquire the required understanding and knowledge of their subjects.
The board also announced that the grades that will be provided to the students are based on their performance in the class 9th and the pre-board exams. This decision has been taken in order to keep the fairness among the students and to provide a fair evaluation depending on the student’s calibre.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also been amidst numerous requests from the student community to cancel the class 10th board exams and has finally arrived at a decision after knowing and understanding the gravity of the situation. Furthermore, the board in collaboration with the state governments will be providing counseling, expectations assessment and subject-specific guidance to all the students in order to ensure that they get an understanding and mastery of all the topics.
