Exam Results of CBSE 10th 2022

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently announced the results of the class 10th board exams for 2022. Students across the country participated in the board examinations, which were held from 16th May – 20th June 2022.
According to reports, the overall pass percentage was 88.6% this year, which is a significant improvement from last year’s figure of 87%. As per CBSE officials, girls have outperformed boys in the examination with a pass percentage of 92.5% over boys who achieved a pass percentage of 85.14%.
Notably, this year, a total of 18 students have secured a perfect score of 10/10, much higher than the 12 students who had achieved this feat last year. This year has seen a large number of students from rural, semi-urban and urban areas performing equally well, with 131 students from rural areas and 131 from semi-urban areas achieving perfect scores.
The states that topped in the exams were Mizoram, Lakshadweep, and Uttar Pradesh. While Mizoram was the overall topper with a pass percentage of 97.4%, Lakshadweep came second with 96.1%. Uttar Pradesh ranked third with 92.4%.
The top three rank holders in the exam were from Maharashtra. Pratiksha Bhandarkar secured the first rank with 99.6%, while Meghna Vaidya and Shubham Banerjee secured second and third ranks respectively.
The CBSE is also providing post-results counselling this year to help students cope with stress and anxiety related to their performance in the exam. The board will also be providing fee-based Re-evaluation and Photocopy of Answer Sheet facilities to the students.
