KOLKATA PSB NET RESULTS OUT TODAY
The hopeful wait of many students of West Bengal will come to an end today as the Kolkata Panini School Board (PSB) will be releasing the results of the National Eligibility Test (NET) today.
The Kolkata Panini School Board has been conducting NET every year since 1998 to provide supplementary qualifications and alternate channels of entry into higher education and research. Nearly 42,000 candidates from all over the country took the test this year, of which 33,000 were from West Bengal. The NET conducted by the PSB includes two parts: Part I is comprised of preliminary questions to assess the candidate’s basic knowledge in their chosen field, while Part II is a more advanced set of questions that test the depth of their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
In order to qualify for the NET exam, candidates must have obtained a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution. The NET question paper will be divided among 3 sections: Section 1 is related to general knowledge; Section 2 will have questions on the subject selected by the candidate; and Section 3 will be a research paper.
Results of the NET exam are usually declared after 8-10 days and will be published online at the official Kolkata PSB website. Candidates may check their scores on the website by entering their registration number. Successful candidates will be issued a NET certificate which is valid for a period of 5 years.
It is expected that 10-15% of the candidates will qualify in the NET exam this year. The results of the NET exam will be an important milestone in the career of these students, as qualification will give them an edge for higher studies and research opportunities.
We wish all the candidates the best of luck for the Kolkata PSB NET results.
