CBSE Results Overview
The results for both classes 10th and 12th were declared on 13th July 2020. The board has released the results on its official website, cbse.nic.in. Students can also access their results through the DigiLocker app. This year, a total of 24,67,817 students appeared for the class 10th examinations, while 11,92,961 students appeared for the class 12th examinations. The overall pass percentage for class 10th is 91.46%, while it is 88.78% for class 12th.
Exam Highlights
- For class 10th, girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 93.31% as compared to boys’ 90.14%.
- For class 12th, girls have once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 92.45% as compared to boys’ 86.19%.
- The top performer in class 10th is Bhumi Sawant De from Chandigarh with 99.4% marks.
- The top performer in class 12th is Mannat Luthra from Delhi with 99.8% marks.
- Over 4.5 lakh students have scored a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 10 in class 10th.
- Over 1.5 lakh students have scored a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 10 in class 12th.
