The overall pass percentage of CBSE 12th Result 2020 was recorded at 88.78%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 92.45%, while the pass percentage of boys was recorded at 85.40%. The overall pass percentage of Delhi region was recorded at 91.87%, while the pass percentage of Chennai region was recorded at 98.52%. The overall pass percentage of Allahabad region was recorded at 86.19%, while the pass percentage of Dehradun region was recorded at 91.48%.

CBSE Class 12th Result
On May 2nd 2017, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12th results. This year, the CBSE class 12th examinations had 17,71,023 enrolments and 87.50 per cent of those students have passed. Girls achieved a success rate of almost 91.46% while boys achieved 83.50%.
This year’s topper of the CBSE Class 12 examination is Bhunade, who achieved a staggering 99.4%. A resounding congratulations to Bhunade for all his efforts! The second and third topper were Anu Garg with 99.2% and Ishan Bansal with 99% respectively.
The CBSE, instead of revealing specific cutoffs, released a ‘Score Card’ for the qualitative evaluation of performance. A score card below 33% is considered as ‘Fail’. More than 95% of the students achieved the ‘Pass’ marks with 27% getting First Class, 40% getting the Second Class and 28% getting the Third.
The CBSE has also provided a counseling service for students who are in need of career guidance. This is a commendable step, taken by the CBSE, which shows that they realize the importance of helping students make informed decisions about their future.
