CBSE 12th Result 2019: All You Need To Know
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released the CBSE Class 12 Results. The results were released on 2nd July 2019, releasing the results at around 6pm via its official websites as well as through its SMS and IVRS services. Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Examinations 2019 can now check their results online and view their performance.
According to reports, around 30 lakh students registered for the CBSE Class 12 Examinations, which were held between 5th February and 13th April 2019. This year too, the pass percentage of the students has gone up by a few percentage points, with the overall pass percentage at 83.40%. This is, in fact, the highest result achieved by the students since the CBSE Examinations have been conducted. A total of 14 students have secured the top rank this time and eight of them have achieved a perfect score of 99.9%.
Students can now check their CBSE Class 12 Results in the following manner. In order to view their results, students need to click on the official website of the CBSE board. They will be asked to enter their roll number and date of birth in order to access their results. They can also view their consolidated marksheet by logging into their Digi-Mark account. CBSE topper of 2019 is Hansika Shukla from Uttar Pradesh who has scored a perfect score of 499 out of 500. She was closely followed by Karishma Arora from Delhi and Jashan Singh from Haryana who both secured a score of 498 out of 500. All the three toppers were felicitated with certificates and cash rewards of ₹50,000 each.
The CBSE Board has also launched its National Scholarships for the toppers and meritorious students of Class 12. The scholarships are awarded both in the forms of monetary and educational grants. The applicants are required to possess a minimum of 75% marks in their Class 12 examinations in order to be eligible for the scholarships. This year, the board has decided to award a total of 1000 scholarships to deserving students across India. The last date for the scholarship applications is 15th August 2019.
