Girls have outshone boys with a pass percentage of 93.31%, as compared to boys’ pass percentage of 89.45%.

The CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2021 have seen a steady growth in terms of the results as compared to last year. This year, a total of 12,03,595 students appeared for the exams, and 11,92,961 students cleared the exams, bringing the pass percentage to 99.31 %, an increase of 0.25 % from last year.
The overall top performer this year is Chahat Mudgal from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, with all the subjects together scoring 499 marks out of 500. Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 99.60 % as compared to 98.93 % of boys.
This year, North East Delhi has scored the highest pass percentage at 99.94 and Jammu at 99.28, followed by Delhi and Chandigarh at 98.86% and 98.30%, respectively.
The marks secured by the students will be uploaded tomorrow and the private candidates are likely to get their results by June 10. Before declaring the results, the CBSE has gone through a long process of scrutiny and ensured transparency of the entire process.
