The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Board examination dates for the 2021-22 session. The exams are scheduled to begin from May 4, 2021 and end on June 10, 2021. The board has now announced the dates for the Class 10 Board result 2022 which is set to be declared on July 10, 2022.
A total of 31,14,821 students had registered for the Class 10th examination of which 14,84,390 were boys and 16,30,431 were girls. The registration across all affiliated schools across India was 23,10012. Out of which 11,15,661 were boys and 11,94,351 were girls.
The board had originally scheduled the board exams for March 5, 2022 to April 08, 2022 and the results for June 03, 2022. Owing to the pandemic, the board rescheduled the board exams for both 9th and 10th students. Students will also be relieved from writing the exams for every subject. There is a reduction in the marks for some practical exams such as Physical Education and Chemistry which has been reduced from 70 to 60 marks.
The board exams will be conducted in a hybrid manner, where they can be taken in the traditional pen-paper mode as well as the online proctored mode. The board has also stated that there will be improved evaluation process to ensure that the results are declared quickly and accurately.
The final exams will also be conducted in the same hybrid medium following all the COVID protocols. The board is expected to declare the results within 45 days of the completion of the exams.
