During the COVID-19 lockdown, Axis Bank adjusted its operational hours in adherence to government directives. This is a convenient way to transfer fund. In this type of transaction the fund is credited instantly as it also says Real Time Gross Settlement. With this transaction, you don’t have to wait for the amount to be credited.
For Axis Bank account holders, NEFT transactions can be done online anytime, 24x7x365. If someone can’t access the internet, they can visit an Axis Bank branch between 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM to submit a form for offline NEFT transactions.
Axis Bank RTGS Timings:
As of December 14, 2020, RTGS transactions can be done round the clock, approved by the RBI, including 2nd and 4th Saturdays and all bank holidays. There is no upper limit for RTGS transactions and there is a minimum limit of 2 lakhs. So, you can go for this transfer option if you wish to transfer larger amount of money.
Axis Bank IMPS Timings:
Similar to NEFT and RTGS, IMPS timings for Axis Bank are also 24×7, allowing customers to transfer funds at any time, including holidays. IMPS stands for immediate payment service. It is for instant and real-time fund transfers which can be initiated anytime including weekends and holidays. IMPS allows customers to transfer funds instantly using their mobile phones and Internet banking.
