On June 25th, 2022 the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) released the results of their Bachelor in Science Nursing (BSC Nursing) examination. This exam is a national level entrance test conducted by AIIMS to select students for the BSC Nursing program offered by the institute.
This year a total of 8,802 students had registered for the BSC Nursing exam. Although the exact number of students who appeared in the exam was not known, AIIMS authorities reported that the number could be around 6,000. Following a successful completion of the exam, AIIMS has now announced the results of the exam.
A five-point scale has been used to grade the students who appeared in the exam. According to the AIIMS authorities, 60 percent of the total number of students who appeared in the exam scored A grade in the exam. The remaining 40 percent of the students were graded B, C, D, and E in the exam, respectively.
In order to gain admission in the BSC Nursing program offered by AIIMS, a student must have scored a minimum of 60 percent marks in the entrance exam. Additionally, seats will be allotted, depending on the performance of the student.
The exam results have been finalized and uploaded on AIIMS’s official website on June 25th, 2022. All the students who appeared for the BSc Nursing entrance exam are advised to check the website for their results.
AIIMS has also announced that the counseling process for the BSC Nursing program will begin from July 5th, 2021. For those who have cleared the entrance examination, all other procedures required for the admission process must be completed withing the specified times frame.
