    The NCVT released the results of the 2016 examinations in Karnataka on May 31st. The results showed that the performance of students from the state had improved significantly, with a total pass percentage of 68.47%. This is a marked improvement from the 58.23% pass rate of 2015, and shows that the state’s vocational training program is progressing in the right direction.

    The results also showed that the number of students taking the examinations had increased, with a total of 1,52,861 students appearing for the exams in 2016, compared to 1,44,964 in 2015.     The NCVT result of the 2016 batch of the Karnataka region have been released. The NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training) is a body of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India that monitors the courses related to vocational trades and courses.

    The result was announced today by the NCVT. According to the statement, more than 7 thousand students appeared for the examinations in Karnataka. The result was received with enthusiasm across the region with more than 8 thousand students achieving success in the examinations.

    This year the NCVT was held for various trades across the state and saw a huge successful response. Out of the 8 thousand students who were successful, 5 thousand achieved distinction in their results. This has been termed as a big success by the state government.

    The pass percentage of the candidates have been recorded at a commendable and overwhelming 81%, which is higher than the previous year by 4 percent. This result has been taking one step ahead to the mission of the Government of India to skill the nation with the right and required skills.

    The Chief Minister of the state is elated with the performance of the students and has expressed his joy over the results. The government is also providing ample avenues for career prospects and providing industry oriented courses for the candidates.

    Through this result, NCVT has been able to bridge the gap between the educational sector and the industrial requirements. And, this result has been highly appreciated by the respective chambers and industry experts.

    This kind of performance from the student fraternity of the state of Karnataka has been very appreciable and it promises to open new and better job prospects for the candidates which in turn will help the nation to prosper in its journey to become the world’s most skillful nation.
