The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the CBSE Class 10 examinations. The results were expected to be released on July 15, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the board had to delay the announcement of the results.

The board has finally announced the results for the CBSE Class 10 examinations. The results are now available online on the CBSE website and can be accessed by students who have appeared for the exams. Students can also access their results through the DigiLocker app.

The board has also set up a dedicated helpline for students who need any help or assistance with checking their results.
The board has also announced that students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation or re-checking of their answer sheets. The board has also announced that students who have failed their exams can apply for improvement of their grades.

CBSE 10th Class Results announced
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of the 10th class examination on Saturday. Almost 18 lakh students had appeared for the exam, and the overall pass percentage has dropped to 91.1%, compared to 91.46% last year. In the last ten years, this is the lowest figure.
This year, girls have outperformed the boys, bagging a pass percentage of 93.31% – 3 percent higher than the boys’ pass percentage at 90.14%. A total of 9,41,316 boys had registered for the exam, while 8,60,429 girls had registered. Among the states, Uttarakhand topped the list with a pass percentage of 98.89%, followed by Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan at 96.41%, 93.67% and 92.52%, respectively.
The CBSE class 10 results are based on the internal assessment, which was held online this year due to the pandemic. This year’s result also included the cumulative performance analysis of the students in the form of grades. The cumulative appraisals of the students were based on the grades obtained in the internal assessments, formative and summative assessment. The grades are determined based on a scaled score system, ranging from 80 to 100 for 90 grades and for 95, it ranges from 90 to 100.
Students can check their CBSE 10th class result on the CBSE website by providing their details. They can also access their results via Digilocker. The CBSE also has announced the facility to challenge their result if the student is not satisfied with the outcome.
