The results of Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) board examinations are generally published in the month of June around the third week. This year, the result was declared on June 17, 2023.
More than 17 lakh students had registered for the Maharashtra Board HSC Exam 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the board decided to conduct the exam from April 7 to April 30, 2021. In view of the rise of Covid cases in the state, the Class 10 and Class 12 exams were cancelled and the students were graded based on the cumulative performance in other board examinations and internal assessments conducted.
This year, the pass percentage of students who appeared for the Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2023 has increased to 88.67%. This is significantly higher than last year’s 83.4%. Girls outperformed Boys with a pass percentage of 93.40%.
